Chad Etherton Obituary

The family announces the passing of Chad Etherton of Johnstown, New York on October 22, 2026. Chad, born on January 24, 1981, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Beatrice Knoblauch, Anna and Alex Etherton. He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas Etherton Sr. and Ruth Etherton (Knoblauch); his significant other Megan Hunt; and his siblings, Nicholas Etherton Jr., Cindy Belknap, Tammy Malagisi (Frank), Mike Etherton (Kelly), Steve Etherton, Brett Etherton (Darlene) and Jason Etherton (Merri). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095).
