It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Davis of Johnstown, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Natalie R. Davis; his mother Rita Davis; his siblings, Michael Davis, Linda French and Judy Gardner; and his brother-in-law George Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel C. Davis, Samuel K. Davis (Nicole) and Abby M. L. Davis; his granddaughter Adeline L. R. Davis; his siblings, Beverly Stone, Steven Davis (Mary), Peggy Davis and Elise Viola; his parents-in-law, Jeffrey and Charlotte Eaton; his brother Jeffrey; and his sister-in-law Jessica Eaton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Daniel took pride in giving back to the community by frequently donating blood to the American Red Cross, participating in Packer-Backer charitable events, including Toys for Tots and raising money for Breast Cancer. In lieu of flowers and to honor his passion for donating, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
