He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. "Wheaties" Buchner and Beverly "Bev" Swann Buchner. He is survived by: his daughter Deanna Johnson (Brendan) of Pleasant Valley; his sister Theresa Buchner (David Kuzmeski); his sister-in-law Linda Dutcher Buchner; his grandchildren, Liam Johnson and Liliana Johnson; and his sibling's children, Carey Royce (Jake Detloff), Rosemary Royce, Sam Ellithorpe, Nicole Dingman and Garritt Buchner.

Contributions in Danny's memory may be made to the Johnstown Public Library, 38 S. Market Street, Johnstown, New York 12095.
