With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor R. Stevens (Johnstown, New York), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Thackrah and Margaret Burke Thackrah; her husband Eugene F. Stevens, Sr.; and her sisters, Elizabeth Crawford and Dorothy Thackrah.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene Stevens (Martha) of Amsterdam, Kathy Frye (Donald, Jr.) of Broadalbin and Kevin Stevens (Terry) of Albany; her grandchildren, Terri Post (Glenn), Donald Frye, III (Alana), Matthew Stevens (Vicki), Erik Stevens (Jerrianne), Beth Case (Doug), Helena Ferraro, Shawn Fransis (Chelsea) and John Molinari (Kat); and her sister Virginia Stahl. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-greatgrandchildren.
