She was predeceased by: her parents, Elemir Lakata and Berta Zanoni; her brothers, Elmer and Neil Lakata; and her great grandchild Gavin Bevington.
She is survived by: her husband George Bevington; her children, George Bevington (Teresa), Glory Bevington Ray (Curt), Susan Bevington and Barbara Bevington (Robert Fiengo); her grandchildren, Luke Davis (Nicole), Kyle Davis, Curtis William Ray (Alley), Anna Ray, Derrick Bevington (Nicole), Jared Bevington (Kaitlin) and Travis Bevington; and her great grandchildren, Harper Davis, Grayson Bevington, Jocelyn Bevington, Kellen Bevington, Karson Bevington and Bailey Ray. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (205 Glebe St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gloria's memory to the Johnstown Public Library or to the 1 Church Street Food Pantry.
