She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wright and Winona Wright; and her husband Herbert E. Hammons, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, James "Scott" Hammons (Brenda) of Gloversville, NY, Jeffery Hammons (Jennifer) of Penn Argyle, PA, Edmund "Ted" Hammons (Jennifer) of Ephratah, NY, Rachel "Auriemma" LeDoux (Stephen) of Mohawk, NY, Douglas Hammons (Catherine) of Edinburg, NY and David Hammons (Amy) of Thomson, GA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (39 St John St, Amsterdam, NY 12010).
In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made to The Bread of Life Food Pantry (Baptist Church of Northville).
