He was predeceased by: his pet Mocha. He is survived by: his wife Sonja M. Brice Bailey; his sons, Jeremy Bailey (Krystin) of Broadalbin and Tyler Bailey (Grace) of Galway; his parents, William Bailey and Joyce Bailey of Amsterdam; his sister Stefanie Genega (Stan) of Charlton; his grandsons, Christopher and Reed; his nieces, Courtney and Caitlyn; his sister-in-law Summer Denison (Marc); his nieces, Sierra and Sadie; and his nephew Greg. He is also survived by his daughters; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). The military honors was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Galway Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter's ALS Regional Center, in care of the funeral home.
