She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Army and Bertina Fish Army; her husband Everett G. Hawes, Jr.; her son Mark; and her daughter-in-law Sharon.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Hawes (Karen), Michael Hawes (Sharon), Timothy Hawes (Kathy) and Matthew Hawes (Richella); her brothers, Robert and Ronald Army; her grandchildren, Darcy Ann (JuanCarlos), Nathaniel (Katie), Kathleen (Jess), Brian (Jessica), Spencer, Morgan and Abigail; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Alexandra, Eric, Zachary, Sharon and Arriah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Dept., in care of the funeral home.
