With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James G. McAuliffe Sr. of Johnstown, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Basil McAuliffe and Kathryn Duffy McAuliffe. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Patnode McAuliffe; and his children, John P McAuliffe (Margie), Kathleen M. Kelly (Brian) and James G. McAuliffe. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of Flowers, contributions in James memory may be made to St Peter's Hospital Covid Unit, Albany, NY and Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Johnstown, NY.
