She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barthe and Helen Scheidig Barthe; her stepfather Louis Brideau; the father of her children Robert Richards, Sr.; and her sisters, Charlotte Young and Helen Strathaus.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Putman (Eric Waffle) of Northville, Lana Ruggiero (Michael) of Gloversville, Robert Richards, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, Jed Richards of Mammoth Lakes, CA, Tamie Fancher (Todd) of Goldsboro, NC and Adriene Cotugno (Kyle) of Mayfield; her sister Clara Albanese of Johnstown; her grandchildren, Brianna Hurlbut (Steve), Ryan Putman (Kayla), Karriann Ruggiero, Kristi Cast (Zach), Robert Ruggiero (Kara), Max Richards, Vincent Riebling, Michael, Sierra Fancher, Kylie and Korey Cotugno; and her great grandchildren, Michaela, Olivia, Patrick, Callie and Sawyer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gloversville Free Methodist Center of Hope Food Pantry or to the Gloversville Women's Alumni Club, in care of the funeral home.
