He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Jennie Mae Ambler Lawton; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Johnson Lawton; his daughter Radine Bultman of Metairie, LA; and his grandchildren, Kellie Lawton, Shaun Lawton (Justine), Caitlin Lawton, Samantha, Andrew Bulman and Katherine Daniels. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
