She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Komorny and Anna Komorny; and her husband Gregory Albanese. She is survived by: her children, Christina, Theresa, Gina, James and Brad Albanese; her grandchildren, Jesse Cooper, Matthew Cooper and Jarrett Albanese; and her siblings, Paul Komorny, Mary Wells and Carolyn Finkle.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society.
