We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2022, at the age of 89, Marshall D. Bates Jr. (Johnstown, New York), born in Mayfield, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Bates and Alberta Kimberly Bates. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Washburn Bates; and his sister-in-law Linda Miller of Gloversville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., in care of the funeral home.
