With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michele Bennett (Johnstown, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael H. Orsell and Katherine Orsell (Hebel); her husband Leonard C. Bennett; her brother Michael G. Orsell (Bozo); her nephew Todd E. Orsell; and her sister Callery.
She is survived by: her friend Lynne Rubscha; her children, Victoria Nellis (Greg Horning), Michael Bennett (Linda), Susan Acquilla (Victor) and Kevin Bennett (Sherry); her grandchildren, Jason Kohout (Jamie), Lisa Panichi (Kohout), Zachary Acquilla (Nicole), Lucas Nellis (Natalie), Chad Acquilla (Lizzy) and Brooke Tennis (Jake); her great grandchildren, Jack Kohout, Julianna Kohout, Mila Pinachi, Rhiannon Michele Acquilla, Thomas Acquilla, Teagan Nellis, Bennett Nellis, Hadley Tennis, Kennedy Tennis and Oaklyn Acquilla; and her sibling's children, Brandi Maye (Corey), Debra Bigler (Kitchen) and Donald S. Kitchen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (205 Glebe St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
