She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hoagboon and Ada Galway Hoagboon; her husband Benjamin J. Sturgess, Jr.; and her brother Robert H. Hoagboon. She is survived by: her children, Karen Van Alstyne (Harold) of Gloversville, Edward Sturgess (Catherine) of Gloversville and Benjamin Sturgess, III (Kimberly) of Broadalbin; her sister Patricia Achzet of Gloversville; her grandchildren, Edward Sturgess, Jr. (Laura), Richard Sturgess (Jennifer), Devyn Crocetta (Thomas), Luke Phelps (Nina), Heather Phelps, Benjamin J. Sturgess, IV and Grace Van Alstyne; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ayden, Emma, Giovanna, Lia, Giuliana, Hayden, Caroline, Quade, Ada, Rowan and Arlo; her sister-in-law Sandy Hoagboon of Johnstown; and her close friends, Linda and Pete Patterson. She is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
