He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Hazzard Fagant; his siblings, Ralph "Peachy" Fagant, Arthur, Richard Fagant, Joan Roots and Linda Wilder; his son-in-law William Appleton; and his granddaughter Ashley Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Pascale (David) of Vero Beach, FL, Robert Fagant, Jr. (Denise) of Gloversville, Connie Sawyer (Joseph) of Broadalbin, Carol Appleton of East Corinth, VT and R. Louie Fagant (Deborah) of Johnstown; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Oare, Virginia Briggs (Ray) and Mary Ellen Palmateer; and his grandchildren, Jami, Christopher LaConte, Shaun Fagant (Heather), Joseph Sawyer, Jr., Jessica Horne, Heidi McNeill (Anthony), Kenneth Appleton, Nora Appleton (Dustin), George Appleton (Mariah), William Appleton and Stacy Laird (Jonathan). He is also survived by his fifteen great-grandchildren, many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
