She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Rekucki and Sophia Jasniewicz Rekucki; her husband Thomas Leo O'Brien; her son Gary E. O'Brien; and her siblings, Casimir, Walter, Henry, Louis, Edward, Mary Rekucki and Adelaide Kessler.
She is survived by: her children, Michael O'Brien (Susan), Thomas O'Brien (Heather), Susan Phillips (Douglas), Kathleen Gayes (Leland) and Maureen Kunac (Ivica); and her brothers-in-law, William O'Brien (Vicky), Albert O'Brien, Edward O'Brien and Joseph Gregorio. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Theresa's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee. 38105.
