Thomas John Farnan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas John Farnan (Johnstown, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tim" James Farnan and Bertha Farrell Farnan; his wife Mary T. Joyce; his sisters, Anne Butler and Mary Lou Gilgallon; and his grandson Anthony.

He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen M. Farnan (David Oxford), Joyce C. Vietri (Michael) and Mary Beth; his sisters, Joan Campbell and Carol Reynolds; his grandchildren, Zachary Vietri (Amelia), Joseph Vietri (Liz), Benjamin Vietri (Darian) and Jacqueline Strouse (Bryan); and his cousin Paul Farnan. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga or Saratoga County Veterans Trust and Agency Fund of Saratoga County Veterans Agency in care of the funeral home.
