He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bennage and Margaret Bennage (Griffeth); his former wife Lorraine Bennage (Blaise); and his grandson Christopher Bennage. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mae Bennage; his children, David Bennage (Karen) of Tallahassee, FL, Joseph Bennage (Candy) of Kissimmee, FL, Russell Bennage (Sheri) of Kissimmee, FL, Frank Bennage (Tammy) of Kissimmee, FL, Charles Bennage (Roberta) of Kissimmee, FL, Seth Bennage (Karla Booth) of Keeseville and Melanie Traynor (John Hamilton) of Keeseville; his grandchildren, Jonathan Bennage, Dona Tingle, Heather Dublansky, Amanda Bennage, Melissa Garate, Brianna Bennage, Matthew Bennage, Alexandria Bennage (Ashley), Andrew Bennage, Jessica Stewart, Emily Slocum, Alayna Traynor, Lyle Traynor, Henley Traynor and Hadley Bennage; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Perrotte, Deborah Wojcinski (Ralph), Brenda Tellier and Sandra Holz (Mike). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (1660 Spring St, Keeseville, NY 12944). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
