He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Brelia and Blanche Brelia (Stone); and his siblings, Howard Brelia, Barbara Rondeau, Marion Desotelle and Martha Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Brelia (Bowe); and his children, Chris Beckham (Robin), David Brelia (Danyelle), Lisa Bashaw (Dana) and Nicole Prentiss (Jason).
