She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrite Whitney and Ruth Whitney (Pauly); her husband Marvin "Bud" Simmons; and her siblings, George Whitney (Marge), Lawrence Whitney (Joan) and Adrienne Rogozinski.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Vitale (Dan); her grandchildren, Zachary Chase and Kyle Chase (Mare); and her great grandchild Del Chase. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
