He was predeceased by: his wife Joan E. Unkrich; his son David R. Unkrich; and his sister-in-law Barbara Eberl (late Kenneth). He is survived by: his daughter Diane Belis (late Mark); his grandchildren, Aaron Unkrich (Crysti) and Kristy Unkrich (Sam Armenia); his stepgranddaughter Katie Turk (Craig); his great grandchildren, Elias and Lena Unkrich; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emma, Sophie and Allie Turk; and his sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Pause (late Charles) and Judith Unkrich (late Richard).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lester H. Wedekindt, Inc. Funeral Home (3290 Delaware Ave, Kenmore, NY 14217). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the KVFD Pavilion (1350 Military Rd, Buffalo, NY 14217).
