The passing of Donna Percy (Kenmore, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Donna Percy to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred F. Smith and Ethel Burlingame Smith; her son Alan Percy (Susan); and her brother Paul Smith. She is survived by: her husband John W. Percy; her children, Allison and Mark (Amy); her grandchildren, David (Christine), Emma (Adlai), Jonathon (Kassandra) and Alexander; and her great grandchild Nora May. She is also survived by one niece and 3 nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kenmore United Methodist Church.

“I learned to teach from a once in a lifetime opportunity to be Donna's student teacher. I have since been in teaching over 40 years and have never had such a magical class as we had together. Those short 8 weeks of practice lead to my career as a teacher, a scholar, and now the Dean of a School of Education. My roots were planted in her rich garden. I will always carry her in my heart.”
