He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sylvia Yurkerwich (late Edward) and Richard Bernard (Kathy). He is survived by: his wife Christel Bernard; his sons, Michael Bernard and Matthew Bernard (Julie); and his siblings, Alma Stevenson (late William), David Bernard (Vivian) and Robert Bernard (Michelle). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
