He is survived by: his wife Ellen J. Burkhardt; his children, Stacey Lewis (Steven), Kendra Burkhardt (Steve Fitzgerald) and Gillian Burkhardt; his grandsons, Gavin and Landon; and his siblings, Michelle Geary (late Ray), Paul Burkhardt and Charlie Burkhardt (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
