“With deepest sympathy I offer my condolences to George Cancross’s family and friends. He was a great neighborhood friend growing up in the Park Road/Marjorie Drive neighborhood. I remember playing Volunteer Fireman with Fire Chief Georgie (as we knew him). We would follow Georgie pulling our red wagons, fireman hats on, and howling like sirens while we rushed to an imagined fire. 🔥 Georgie will be in my prayers, and his spirit will live forever in my memory..”
