He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia Helbert Paul; his children, David Paul (Regina) and Andrea Joyer; his stepchildren, Charles Helbert, Claudia Deitrich (Jerry) and Russell Helbert (Sharon); his grandsons, David (Danielle), Andrew, Nicholas and Emmitt Laurence; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexendra and Christina.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lester H. Wedekindt, Inc. Funeral Home (3290 Delaware Ave, Kenmore, NY 14217). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity United Church of Christ (1530 Colvin Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14223).
