She was predeceased by: her husbands, Eugene Ayler and Harlan Edmiston; her son James; and her brother Ralph Sexsmith (Marcia). She is survived by: her children, Ronald Ayler (Marcia), Daniel Ayler (Bridget), Sandra Szczepanski (Jerome), Terrence and Theodore Ayler; her brother Lloyd; and her close friend William Walters. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
