He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert MD and Gladys Coates, MD. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Coates; his children, Gary (Mary Beth), David Coates (Michelle) and Catherine Miller (late Gregory); and his grandchildren, Connor Miller, Hannah Coates, Bethany Coates and Maya Miller.
