He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Shannon and Margaret Shannon (Bohn); and his former spouse Michael P. Shannon (Chris Davis) of Cheverly, MD.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bonnie" Ferrari Shannon; his stepchildren, Christopher Jones (Debra) of Dalton, MA and LeeAnne Jones (Jim Kelly) of East Chatham, NY.; his grandchildren, Zoey Shannon of Princeton, KY, Jessica Alger, Zack Jones and Nikki Jones of New York; his great grandchildren, Kiara, Dante, Camila and Damien; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Shannon Dill; his nephew Michael Dill; and his nieces, Connie Dill Greenspan and Diane Dill.
