She was predeceased by : her parents, George Fehlker and Margaret Fehlker; her former life partner Eugene P. Sauer; her husband Jack Mertz; and her son Eugene G. Sauer.
She is survived by : her siblings, Ann Pierce and George Fehlker (Patricia); her daughter Lorena Ledbetter; her grandchildren, Matthew Ledbetter and Mariah Holaday (Michael); and her great grandchild Ruth Holaday.
