He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie; his daughters, Liz Wehrli and Rita Marie; his son-in-law Stephen Thomas; his stepsons, Justin Sanchez and Jason Sanchez; his sister Renate Gruter Wehrli; and his brother-in-law Markus. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
In keeping with his generous and selfless nature, Markus gave the gift of life through organ donation an act that reflects the compassion with which he lived every day.
