With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alba Talavera of Kingston, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alba left this world on August 30, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ana Talavera and Julio Talavera; and her siblings, Baca, Felix and Julio.
She is survived by: her children, Bernadette, Lawrence "LJ" Abt (Stephanie), Byron Abt (Hannah) and T'ana Abt; and her sister Josephine Talavera (Carlos). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Salvation Army.
