It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Slater of Kingston, New York, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rowles and Loretta Rowles; her husband Raymond Slater; and her daughter Mickey Prindle. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Slater; her grandchildren, Heather Haskins, T. J. Gilbert, Raymond Prindle, PJ Prindle and Christopher Prindle; and her great grandchildren, Mehki Gilbert, Makayla Gilbert and Riley Fenlon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery (205 W O'Reilly St, Kingston, NY 12401).
