Anneliese Oberlander Obituary

The memory of Anneliese Oberlander (Kingston, New York), who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Anneliese shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anneliese farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Zollner and Anna Zollner; her husband Gerhard Oberlander; and her siblings, Rudy, Herbert and Rita.

She is survived by: her sister Anna Niedermeier of Munich; her children, Christine (Don Korchowsky) and John Oberlander (Mary Ellen); and her grandsons, Ian Korchowsky and Conor Oberlander. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service - Kingston (326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Accord Cemetery.
