We bid farewell to Berenice A. Smith of Kingston, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 16, 2025 at the age of 100. Berenice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William McElrath and Rose Harbeck McElrath. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Dias (James) of Glenmont, NY and Deborah Soura (George) of Leeds, NY; her grandchildren, Bryan Sarafin (Heather), Katherine Bradley (Brian), Gregory Dias (Monroe), Harli Soura (Seth) and Stephen Dias; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Sarafin, Weston Sarafin and Isla Bradley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry J. Bruck Funeral Home (261 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401). A procession was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (60 Main St, Kingston, NY 12401).
