He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas V. Sr. Dye and Victoria Dye (Tooma). He is survived by: his brothers, Dennis Dye of Clifton Park, NY and David Dye (Colleen) of Wasilla, AK; and his nephews, Cody Dye (Ginnelle) of Eagle River, AK and Colton Dye of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The military honors was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
