“i know Ed through his brilliant PST salon that he and Neal ran for many years. it was an oasis in the storm for me; so many interesting ideas and people and always Ed's welcoming smile and embrace for an evening of intellectual stimulation, discussion and food all wrapped up in a warm blanket of good fellowship. i will miss him dearly and send my continued love for him, his family and all those whose hearts he touched. i will always remember him as that sweet spot between poetry and science”
