She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kantor and Annette Kantor (Kaufman). She is survived by: her husband Anthony B. Bowe; her daughter Alexandra Bowe Lau; her son-in-law Lawrence Lau of Brooklyn; and her pet Pearl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burnett & White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Burnett and White Funeral Home (7461 S Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA in honor of Ellen's lifelong love of animals.
