He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Mary Guinan Haas; his daughters, Karla Wainwright and Denise Ann Turner (Keith); his grandchildren, Kyle Wainwright, Emily Swinden (Tyler), Brandon Turner and Bradley Turner; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Charlotte and Remy Swinden; and his sister Mary Ellen Haas Straub.
In lieu of flowers, George had requested that donations be made to the Charles Haas Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. for Ulster County NY Firefighters, P.O. Box 404 Rosendale, NY 12472.
