It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Schabot of Kingston, New York, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Scheffel and Evelyn Scheffel (Horton); her husband Frederick "Fritz" Schabot; and her siblings, Marion Knapp, David Scheffel, Raymond Scheffel, Ruth Dachenhausen, William Scheffel and John Scheffel.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Sabino (Robert) and Frederick Schabot Jr. (Ilene); her sister-in-law Barbara Scheffel; and her grandsons, Justin Sabino (Diane Yankel) and Adam Sabino.

Helen enjoyed traveling, cruising, attending church, volunteering for RSVP, People's Place and the American Heart Association.
