James T. Fitzpatrick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James T. Fitzpatrick (Kingston, New York), who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Fitzpatrick and Catherine Fitzpatrick (Ayers); and his sisters, Catherine Cahir and Margaret Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Fitzpatrick of Hudson Falls, Elizabeth O'Connor (Donald Jr.) of Kingston, James Fitzpatrick of Kingston and Heather Buff (Stephen) of Latham; his grandchildren, Cassidy, Braydon O'Connor, Madelyn and Allyson Buff; and his brother Dr. John Fitzpatrick.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to your local animal shelter.
