As we bid adieu to Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jean has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Lamb and Peter Garamone; her husband Joseph Benkert of Kingston; and her brother Paul Garamone. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Starpoli of Brooklyn, NY; and her siblings, Donna Law of Poughkeepsie, NY and Jim Garamone of Havre de Grace, MD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and so many wonderful friends.
