JoAnn Solian Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Solian (Kingston, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Szpulecki and Madeline Szpulecki (Roberts); her brother Robert W. Roberts; and her parents-in-law, Metro Solian and Virginia Solian (Cozza).

She is survived by: her husband John Solian Sr.; her sons, John Solian Jr. (Allison Solian) and Michael Solian (Jennifer Winne); her grandsons, Michael J. Solian, Hunter R. Solian and Hudson J. Solian; her brother Edward J. Szpulecki Jr. (Bonnie Szpulecki); and her sibling's children, Donna Szpulecki, Jessica Roberts-Ruc, Brian Lindhorst, Michael Lindhorst and Christopher Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A procession will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (467 Delaware Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (322 Foxhall Ave, Kingston, NY 12401).
