He is survived by: his children, Annmarie Huffman (Brian) of Kerhonkson, John Hertle III (Barbara) of Kingston and Michael Hertle (Laura) of Kingston; his wife Katherine Irwin; his grandchildren, Nicole Cooke, Chauncey Cooke, Andrew Huffman, Brittany Brocco (Michael), John IV Hertle (Taylor) and Aislinn Hertle; his great grandchildren, Julani, Jaeliana, Aliana Clark, Bryce, Kyler Brocco, John Hertle (JJ), Thomas, Rearick, Robert, Chloe and Lilith Cooke; and his brothers, Larry Hertle (Carol) of Texas and Bob Hertle (Melanie) of Napanoch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
