He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Goyer and Frances Goyer (Conde); his wife Darlene Bower Goyer; his sister Nellena Carter; and his friend Rosalind Wilber.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Kovacs of North Carolina, Leon Goyer (Brandi) of Alabama and Nancy Barley (Robert) of North Carolina; and his siblings, Stephen Goyer of Cohoes and Marianne DelRusso (Tim) of Niskayuna. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service - Kingston (326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (315 Pine Bush Rd, Stone Ridge, NY 12484).
