She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Matthews and Edgar Matthews; her sister Linda Dawn Matthews; and her brother-in-law Martin Peterson. She is survived by: her siblings, Kris Peterson and Ed Matthews. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Saugerties Animal Shelter, Rte. 212, Saugerties.
