He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth C. Blanschan and Althea Blanschan (Passer); and his brother Wade "Manny" Blanschan. He is survived by: his wife Helen Blanschan (Tyler); his children, Christopher Blanschan (Christina), Lisa Smith (Charles) and Kenneth Blanschan; his stepchildren, Arthur Knapp (Jessica), Frances Cruz, Gary Knapp (Lisa Knapp), Felicia Ellsworth and Andre Peterkin Jr.; and his sisters, Wendy Coleman (Jack), Susan Blanschan and Wanda Winnie. He is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montrepose Cemetery (75 Montrepose Ave, Kingston, NY 12401).
