He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Murphy and Eleanor Murphy; his daughter Elizabeth; his sisters, Eileen and Eleanor (Jimmy); his nephew Jimmy Pat; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Chick and Lori Chick.

He is survived by: his wife Julia; his son Steven (Robin); his grandchildren, Craig and Lauren; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn, Joe Markle, Julius Chick and Floyd Burgher.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions, in Roger's memory, be made to American Legion Post 150 in Kingston.
