He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Hoban and Royal Haines Sr.; his siblings, Helen Wallace, Nelson Haines and Royal Haines Jr.; and his daughter Deborah Rodschat.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Haines; and his children, Ron Haines (Donna), Selina Sauers, Melissa Steele (Manuel) and Brittany Hildreth (John). He is also survived by Several step children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
